DMCA and Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect everyone who uses DailyOnWeb to do the same. This policy follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws. It was last updated on Nov 6, 2026.

Our approach to copyright

Our tools work on files that users provide, and the results are returned only to the person who created them. We do not publish, index or share those files. The site’s own text, images and code are either created by us or used with permission. If you believe any material on https://www.dailyonweb.com infringes your copyright, we will review your notice and act where the law requires.

How to file a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated contact at support@dailyonweb.com, with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be valid, it must include:

1. Your full name and a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorised to act for the owner.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The exact web address (URL) of the page on https://www.dailyonweb.com that contains the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to find it.
4. Your postal address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner.

Please do not send attachments that you do not need to, and do not send sensitive personal documents. Incomplete notices may be returned to you for more information.

What happens next

When we receive a valid notice, we review it promptly. If the claim is valid, we remove or disable access to the material and may tell the person who published it about the notice, including your contact details as required by law. We may reply to ask for more information.

Counter-notice

If material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must contain your name, address and signature, a description of the removed material and where it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location. We may forward the counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. If they do not start a court action within ten to fourteen business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we will block users who are repeatedly found to infringe the copyright of others.

Misrepresentation

Please be aware that under US law, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are not sure whether something is infringing, we suggest speaking to a lawyer before sending a notice.
