Choosing a good watermark
A corner watermark is subtle but easy to crop out. A centred or tiled mark at lower opacity is harder to remove and still lets the photo show through. Keep the text short, use a colour that stands out from the picture, and test it on both bright and dark images.

How do I add a watermark to a photo?

Can I use my own logo?
Yes. Choose the logo option and upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG file. A PNG or SVG with a transparent background looks best.
Can I change the text, colour and size?
Yes. Type any text up to 80 characters, pick its colour, and set the size from 5 to 80 percent of the image.
How do I make the watermark less obvious?
Lower the opacity. A setting of 30 to 60 percent keeps the mark visible without covering the photo. The default is 60.
Can I place the watermark anywhere?
Yes. Choose from nine positions such as corners, edges and the centre, set a rotation from minus 90 to plus 90 degrees, or turn on tile to repeat the mark across the whole image.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Add several images and the same watermark is applied to all of them, so a whole shoot takes only a moment.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The watermark is added in your browser on your own device. Your photos and your logo are never sent to DailyOnWeb or anyone else.
