SVG
SVG is a vector format that stores shapes and paths instead of pixels. It stays sharp at any size and is perfect for logos and icons, but not every app or platform accepts it.
PNG
PNG is a pixel format with lossless compression and full transparency. It is accepted almost everywhere, which makes it the standard way to share a logo or graphic as an image.

Convert SVG to PNG Online for Free
In short: this tool converts SVG vector files to PNG images directly in your browser. You choose the scale from 1x to 4x, the transparent background is kept, and nothing is uploaded. Use it to turn a logo or illustration into an image that works on every platform.
How to convert SVG to PNG
- Drop your SVG files on the page, or click to choose them.
- Choose the scale. 2x is a good default, 4x gives the largest image.
- Click Convert and check the preview.
- Download the PNG files one by one, or all at once.
Choosing the right scale
Because an SVG is made of shapes, you decide the pixel size when you export. Use 1x for small web graphics, 2x for retina screens and slides, and 3x or 4x for print, large banners and posters. A bigger scale creates a bigger file, so only go as high as you need.
What SVG to PNG is best for
- Using a logo in email signatures, slides and documents.
- Uploading artwork to social networks and marketplaces that reject SVG.
- Making app icons and store listing images from a vector design.
- Sharing illustrations with people who do not have design software.
Your files stay on your device
The SVG is drawn and exported inside your browser. There is no upload and no copy of your artwork on a server, which is useful for unreleased brand work.
Need a different format?
To make an icon file for a website, use Image to ICO or the Favicon Generator. After exporting, shrink the PNG for the web with PNG to WebP, or change its size with Image Resize. See all converters in Image Tools.
Good to know
- Only .svg files are accepted by this converter.
- Text in an SVG that uses a font which is not embedded may look different.
- Keep your original SVG, because a PNG cannot be scaled up without losing sharpness.
- Very large SVG files at 4x need more memory, so lower the scale if the page slows down.
常见问题 (常见问题)
How do I convert SVG to PNG?
Drop your SVG files onto the page or click to browse, choose a scale from 1x to 4x and click Convert. When it finishes, download each PNG. You can add several files at once.
What does the scale option do?
An SVG has no fixed pixel size, so the tool draws it at its natural size multiplied by the scale you choose. 2x is the default and gives sharp results on high-density screens. Pick 3x or 4x for large prints or banners.
Is the transparent background kept?
Yes. PNG supports transparency, so any empty area in your SVG stays see-through in the PNG.
Why convert SVG to PNG at all?
Many platforms, email tools, social networks and document editors do not accept SVG files. A PNG works almost everywhere, so converting lets you use your logo or illustration in those places.
Will the PNG look as sharp as the SVG?
It is sharp at the size you export. Unlike SVG, a PNG cannot scale up forever, so export at a larger scale if you may need a bigger image later and keep the SVG as your master file.
Are my SVG files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to DailyOnWeb or anyone else.
Why does my SVG look different after converting?
Some SVG files rely on external fonts or linked images that a browser cannot load while drawing. Embedding fonts as outlines and images inside the SVG usually fixes the difference.
