No. The data is written straight into the code, so it is a static QR code. It does not depend on our server, has no expiry date and keeps working as long as the destination you linked to still exists.

Select the Wi-Fi type, then enter the network name, the password and the security type (WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP or open). Tick the hidden network option if needed. Guests can scan the code with their phone camera to join without typing the password.

Error correction lets a code stay readable when it is dirty or partly covered. L restores about 7 percent, M about 15 percent, Q about 25 percent and H about 30 percent. M suits most uses. Choose Q or H for printed codes that may get scuffed, but note that higher levels make the code denser.

Use PNG for websites, slides and documents. Use SVG for print, signs and packaging, because it is vector based and stays sharp at any size. You can also copy the image straight to your clipboard.

Yes. Set the foreground and background colors. Keep strong contrast and a dark code on a light background, because low contrast or inverted colors can stop some scanners from reading the code.

Aim for at least 2 by 2 centimetres (about 0.8 inch) and leave a blank margin around the code. A larger size is better for posters or distant scanning. Use the size slider from 160 to 1024 pixels, or download the SVG and scale it freely.

The usual causes are low contrast, a code that is too small, too much data, or a blurry print. Shorten long links, raise the contrast, use a larger size and test the code with a phone before printing a large batch.

Yes. The code is created in your browser and your text, links and Wi-Fi passwords are never uploaded or stored. Remember that anyone who scans a code can read what is inside it, so do not put secrets in a public QR code.
