About DailyOnWeb

Who we are

DailyOnWeb is an independent web project run by a small team of developers and writers who use these tools themselves. We are not a big corporation and we do not hide behind one. When something breaks, a real person reads your message and fixes it.

Our goal is simple: when you have a quick task, you should be able to open a page, do the job in a few clicks and leave. No pop-up asking you to register, no free trial that expires after two files, no watermark added to your result.

What you can do on DailyOnWeb

The site is organised into four groups of tools. Each tool has its own page with clear instructions, examples and answers to common questions.

Why we built it

Most of us have been in the same situation: you need to combine two PDFs before a deadline, and the first ten search results ask you to download a program, sign up for a subscription or upload your document to a server you know nothing about. For a ten-second job, that is a lot of friction and a lot of trust to ask for.

We built DailyOnWeb to be the opposite. Wherever it is technically possible, the work happens inside your own browser, so your file never has to leave your device. Where a tool genuinely needs server-side processing, we say so on the tool page and in our Privacy Policy.

Our principles

• Free to use. Every tool on the site is free. We do not lock core features behind an account or a paywall.
• Private by design. We collect as little data as we can, we never sell personal information, and we explain exactly what is processed and why.
• Simple and fast. Pages are light, tools load quickly and the interface works on a phone as well as on a desktop.
• Honest about limits. Calculators give estimates, converters have format limits, and AI-style features are never perfect. We tell you where the edges are instead of overpromising.

How we keep the tools accurate

Every calculator is built from published formulas, for example the standard amortisation formula for loans and the WHO and CDC categories for BMI. We test each tool with known examples before it goes live and re-check it when we change it. File tools are tested with a wide range of real-world documents and images, including large and unusual files.

Results from calculators are estimates for general information. They are not financial, medical or legal advice, which is explained in our Disclaimer. If you ever find a result that looks wrong, please tell us through the contact page with the numbers you used, and we will investigate.

How the site is funded

Running fast servers, fixing bugs and writing helpful guides costs money and time. We pay for it with advertising. We show ads from Google and other advertising partners, and we clearly keep them separate from our tool controls and results. We do not accept payment to change what a tool does, and we do not publish paid reviews disguised as editorial content.

Languages and accessibility

The interface is available in several languages, and we keep adding more. We also aim for readable text, sensible colour contrast, keyboard-friendly controls and layouts that adapt from small phones to wide monitors. If something on the site is hard for you to use, tell us and we will work on it.
