We do not count your files or ask you to pay after a certain number. Very large files may be slow or may be refused if your browser runs out of memory, and some tools mention a maximum file size on their page.

The menus, buttons and footer are available in several languages, and you can switch language from the globe button in the header. Some long explanatory pages are shown in English until their translation is ready.

We designed the site so that your files stay private. Most tools process your file inside your own browser, so it never travels to our servers. A small number of tools, for example Office-to-PDF conversion and OCR, need server-side processing. For those, the file is sent over an encrypted connection, used only to create your result and then deleted automatically.

We do not read your files and we do not keep copies after processing. Our staff cannot browse what you converted, because we do not store it.

Yes, within limits. The compress tool reduces image resolution and removes unused data, so text stays sharp while the file gets smaller. Choose a lighter level if you need the best possible quality.

You can unlock a PDF if you know its password and want to save a copy without one. We cannot recover or break a password you do not have.

Simple documents convert very well. Complex layouts with many columns, special fonts or scanned pages may need small manual edits. For scanned files, use the OCR tool first so the text can be recognised.

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC and SVG are supported, with conversions between the most common pairs. Each tool page lists exactly what it accepts and produces.

Lossless formats such as PNG keep every pixel. For JPG and WebP you can choose a quality level, so you decide the balance between file size and sharpness. We recommend a quality of 80 to 90 for photos.

Browsers can only draw one frame of a GIF when converting, so animation is not preserved. The tool page says this clearly before you start.

They use standard published formulas and are tested with known examples. Results are estimates for general information, not professional advice. Real-world figures can differ because of fees, taxes, rounding and individual circumstances.

No. Calculations happen in your browser and your inputs are not sent to us or stored on our servers. A few tools remember a display preference, such as a 12 or 24 hour clock, on your own device only.
